To use the machine, fill the reusable ice molds with water and freeze them overnight to produce small, round blocks of ice. Before shaving the ice, allow it to thaw for 5-7 minutes, then place it into the ice crusher cup. Position the motor unit, and gently press down on the motor assembly to shave a soft, fluffy mound of snow directly into your bowl or cup.
